ROADEM’25 is the second edition of an international conference dedicated to presenting innovative research, exploring solutions, and discussing challenges in the field of Operational Research and Decision Support, applied to the transformation towards Industry 4.0. It targets researchers, professionals, policymakers, engineers, and students interested in these topics.

In recent years, companies have been facing increasing complexity, uncertainty, and environmental concerns, making it essential to rethink traditional approaches to industrial management and transformation. Operational Research and Decision Support play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring long-term resilience and competitiveness in this evolving landscape. Because of these challenges, this edition’s theme “Operational Research and Decision Support for Industry 4.0 Transformation: Towards Sustainable and Resilient Competitiveness ” highlights the growing need for smart, data-driven tools and methods to support sustainable and adaptive transformation in industrial environments.

Building on the success of ROADEM’24 in Marrakech, which gathered experts from academia and industry, this edition will continue fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration. ROADEM’25 will take place at the National School of Applied Sciences of El Jadida (ENSA El Jadida) from November 20^th to November 21^th, 2025 , a key institution in engineering education and research, providing an ideal setting for discussions on cutting-edge advancements in the field.

Authors and participants are cordially invited to contribute to the conference by presenting their recent works, research projects, innovative case studies, or industrial experiences. This is a unique opportunity to connect, exchange, and collaborate with experts from diverse fields, all sharing a common interest in advancing Operational Research (OR) and Decision Support for a sustainable and resilient Industry 4.0.

In addition to the call for conference abstracts, we are pleased to announce a parallel call for book chapters for the upcoming volume titled: “Smart Operational Research Solutions in the Era of Industry 4.0 and Sustainability”, scheduled to be published by IGI Global Scientific Publishing.

This book aims to gather cutting-edge research and practical insights on how OR can support smart, sustainable supply chains and logistics systems. We invite researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to contribute original chapters aligned with the conference themes.
